Role: Business Systems Analyst

Duration: 6-month contract

Location: 100% Remote

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in healthcare and proven experience working between business and technical teams. The ideal candidate will be skilled in requirements gathering, business process analysis, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from business stakeholders.
• Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional/system requirements for technical teams.
• Develop detailed test scenarios and test cases based on business and system requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute UAT testing with business users and stakeholders.
• Document, track, and manage defects/issues, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Validate system changes and enhancements against business requirements and expected outcomes.
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, product owners, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Support requirements clarification, testing, issue resolution, and implementation activities.
• Prepare and maintain business requirements, process flows, test documentation, and UAT results.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst.
• Healthcare industry experience is required/preferred.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation experience.
• Hands-on experience with business process analysis.
• Strong UAT testing experience.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Experience with defect documentation, tracking, and validation.
• Experience validating system changes/enhancements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
